Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Sydney, Hewlett Property Group is a privately owned property development and diversified investment firm with a demonstrated track record across multiple market cycles. Drawing on deep institutional expertise in finance, acquisitions, development and end‑to‑end project delivery, we operate across residential, retail and alternative asset classes, with a particular focus on complex, value‑add opportunities.

Our core strategy is to design, construct and retain a high‑quality portfolio of income‑producing assets for the long term. We also pursue selectively targeted, risk‑adjusted real estate opportunities, for transactions with an emphasis on disciplined underwriting and value creation through strategic development and repositioning.

Underpinned by carefully selected, high‑calibre real estate, our proprietary portfolio is directly managed in‑house, enabling disciplined execution, active asset management and alignment of interests. We also leverage our alternative asset holdings to support and capitalise a number of operating businesses within the Group.

Today, through the proprietary holdings of Hewlett Property Group, it employs more than 130 professionals across New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory, spanning investment, development, operations and management functions.

Hewlett Property Group is led by Managing Director Ben Hewlett, who is responsible for the Group’s overall strategy, capital allocation and leadership across all projects and operating businesses. Prior to founding Hewlett Property Group, Ben held roles at Macquarie Bank in Sydney and New York and he holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology Sydney and a Master of Property Development from New York University.
